Christina is the Shelter Director for Onslow Women's Center. She works with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing emergency shelter to those who have had to flee dangerous situations. Her journey began with the Onslow Women's Center 3 years ago when she was a volunteer hospital advocate. Christina's ardent support in advocacy comes from her past experiences with domestic violence and sexual assault and her desire to help break the cycle of abuse. She is certified in crisis intervention and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Child and Family Services. She is a transplant from New Jersey, but has lived in Jacksonville for the past 10 years. Christina enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her blended family.
